Rani Lakshmi Bai
She was born on 18 November 1835 in Kashgar (now Varanasi) into a Maharashtrian family. When she was little, she was called
Manikarnika. His family name is Manu. He lost his mother when he was four years old, and the responsibility of raising him fell on his father. During his training, he also received training in martial arts such as horseback riding, shooting and fencing. The Maharaja of Jhansi was married to Raja Gangadhar Rao Newalkar. After marriage, she was named Lakshmi Bai. Her wedding took place at the Ganesha Temple in the old city of Jhansi. She gave birth to a son in 1851. Unfortunately, the child did not survive more than four months. Therefore, the couple decided to have children. To ensure that the British did not compete for the adoption, Jhansi ki Rani - Rani Lakshmi Bai completed the adoption in the presence of local British representatives. Maharaja Gangadhar Rao died on 21 November 1853. Continue reading
